Three bedroom, two bath, on seven acres, very secluded in the back country of Union County on unpaved road. Huge wraparound decks with plenty of local hiking, cycling and wildlife watching.
This author’s cabin sleeps 3 couples comfortably. Slumber in designer sheets. Fully equipped kitchen, w/d and linens provided. Downstairs the fireplace is equipped with a wood burning stove with a glass front (firewood, kindling provided). The stove allows for efficient heating of the cabin and the glass front provides the mesmerizing view of a fire place. We have an informal library with everything from hiking, history, motivational, humor and fiction. For rainy days the cabin has several games including chess, checkers and backgammon. |

Upstairs
you will find the master bedroom and bath. After a full day of hiking,
relax in the extra large jetted tub. The cabin has a huge wrap around
veranda and an outdoor fire pit great for gathering under the stars
in the evening. This place is suited for solitude, nature lovers and
people who love the outdoors. You can hike around the property
or head up into the national forest just a short distance behind our
property. Bring your bikes and ride country roads with beautiful views
and little or no traffic. There is Appalachian Trail access approximately
two miles from the cabin on the old Dahlonega road. During our
visits, we see and hear a variety of birds, deer, bobcats and wild
turkeys.
